Jira is project management software, made by engineers, to manage technical projects. The perception by the wider market is that Jira is ONLY for technical people. Our job was to demonstrate Jira's ease of use while expanding its broader awareness in culture. We cast Zach Woods (of Silicon Valley fame) to demonstrate how he was going to organize and allocate his new found tech wealth using Jira. This film received over 14M views, increased sign ups nearly 200% week over week, and blew away every internal benchmark, getting 5x the baseline impressions, 10x the baseline views, 10x the engagement, and 20x the shares. Also, it was really fun to make and still makes me laugh when I watch it, and that counts for a lot, to me anyway.
